John Fields, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Philosophy, received his B.A. (Philosophy) from the University of Kentucky and his M.A. and Ph.D. (in Philosophy) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His areas of specialization are epistemology and the philosophy of religion. His current research focus is on the epistemology of testimony and the nature of social trust. John is the faculty advisor for the Edgewood College chapter of Amnesty International and the Edgewood College Philosophy Club. He is also the College’s official representative to the Executive Council of the Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies. |
